Jurate got in touch before her trip to Malta to book me for a photo shoot. I suggested a few locations that I'm familiar with which I knew would offer good results and at the same time show some spectacular scenery of Malta's coast. These are some of my favourites... This is a mix of my two hobbies, skateboarding and photography. I've been wanting to do a skate related shoot for sometime but was holding off for the right location, setting and ideas.
When I saw this location I was totally inspired and confident I found that perfect spot I had been looking for. I teamed up with my friend Nacho, who gladly played the role of photo model and together we made some epic shots. Chelsea & Emerson married 8th December, 2019 at St. Matthew's Chapel (Tal-Maqluba) in Qrendi. This was followed by a reception dinner with family and close friends at Tarragon restaurant in St. Paul's Bay.
December weddings are tricky as you never know what Mother Nature is going to throw at you. Luckily, on this day we couldn't have asked for better weather. Blue skies and bright sunshine greeted us making the perfect setting for beautiful pictures. Some of my favourites from the day can be seen below: Annie & Max were a fun couple who knew how to put on a good party. They surrounded themselves with similarly lovely family and friends for their super September wedding.
It was difficult to choose favourites but here's a selection from the day... When you take away all the pomp and circumstance that comes with a wedding and you strip it down to its bare bones, you're left with an intimate occasion focused only on the couple and what matters most. Helenna & Wesley came to Malta from Ireland together with their three boys for a secret elopement. All the details were carefully put in place by PlannedbyTara. The ceremony was held at Radisson Golden Sands Resort and this was witnessed by the couples sister and brother-in-law. Jacob Portelli played the violin. After the ceremony was over I took everyone up the road to Għajn Mixkuka Tower for a photo shoot in one of my favourite settings. Malta, Wedding, Photographer, Wedding photographer, Elopement, Love,
It's December. Christmas is round the corner, the air is cool and the streets are abundantly decorated. A photo shoot plays out in my mind....
I teamed up with Evangeline, an English girl with Maltese roots. She's a talented model and had the perfect look for the shots I had in mind. Mosta was the location of choice as it offered a good mix of street lighting and variety to pull off a nice, creative shoot. Here are some of my favourites:
:) Behind the scenes looked something like this....... "April showers May flowers".....and so the saying goes. Oh boy did it shower! It must have rained for a good twelve hours prior to this shoot. Alison was determined to proceed regardless and good thing we did because as soon as we got out of our cars the skies opened up.
The location for this shoot is the beautiful Milorda Gardens in Sa Maison. Alison & Toni are a dog loving couple and they chose to bring one of their elder dogs to include him in the memories we created together.
Valletta photo shoot with Sveta. Originally from Russia and now living in Malta, she's an artist, model and photography student.
A glorious sunset was a bonus on this shoot. A great way to do an end of summer shoot. |
