Photography is my escape, my way of self expression. When I'm not shooting assignments I try to get out and do personal work. This normally involves landscape photography.
With shooting landscapes the beauty is in the solitude. I'm usually out at the crack of dawn or late in the day as the sun is setting and it's just me and the elements.
Life is busy and my way of escaping the hustle and bustle is to head off solo to remote locations to absorb the scenery and sounds of nature. Things we normally take for granted in our busy lives.
When you can get in touch with nature and reach for that sought after "Zen" state then the photography comes together on its own.
Everyday the sun rises and sets again. Clouds come and go and wind rustles through the trees. Everyday there's a new opportunity to shoot something different. My gear is packed and batteries are charged, let's see what tomorrow brings...
